跆拳道的自我防衛不光只是跆拳道技巧而已,也是最高階的技法;適用於以自我防衛為重的實戰。自我防衛的例子有:抵禦對方抓握、勒脖、出拳攻擊與腿擊或者是任一形式之武器攻擊。當然,光是阻擋攻擊並不夠,重要的是能控制住對方,且在必要的情形下予以反擊。

  • Attacker grasps with one hand. 單手抵禦攻擊抓握。
  • Twist the arm clockwise, moving the right foot forward. 順時鐘方向扭轉手臂,右腳前移。
  • Release while forming a right walking stance. 採正面步行姿勢時放開手臂。
  • Execute an upward punch with the left fist. 以左拳上擊。
